For those who are new to our Group, you should know that we are part of the national "Ramblers" and are based in Huntingdon covering Cambridgeshire and the surrounding area.
Walking with your local Ramblers Group is a great way to explore your local countryside. Walks are organised for most weekends plus summer evening walks. There are also ‘easy walks ‘ provided once a month of five miles. So there should be a walk to suit most people. On full walk days we may stop at a pub for lunch, on other occasions picnic stops. Walks vary from 6 to 12 miles always at no more than a comfortable pace.
New members are very welcome to come along and try any of our walks before joining ‘the Ramblers’. Unless otherwise stated all our walks are free.
As a registered charity, "The Ramblers" operates on both local and national level and aims to encourage walking, protect and maintain rights of way, increase access on foot to uncultivated land and defend the beauty of the countryside.
On behalf of Hunts Ramblers many thanks to Brian Foster for his expertise and generous work in producing the new website.
